The thriving community of Birch Hills is supported by approximately 90 businesses answering to the basic needs of the area population. We are open to new ideas and encourage you to bring your business to Birch Hills.

In regards to commercial real estate, there are lots available for business development. Existing buildings can be used for office space or altered to accommodate various enterprises. There are some large buildings in surrounding communities that could be adapted to almost any kind of venture.

If you are interested in farmland in the surrounding district, the area is known for its excellent soil and growing conditions. As an alternative to urban living, acreages are a popular choice in the rural community. There is also a mobile home site available on the edge of Town for those that wish to use this as their temporary or permanent residence.

Due to the proximity of Birch Hills to major trading centres and to lake resorts, the real estate market has been strong throughout the last 10 years. From 1992 - 1996, Birch Hills developed and sold 17 new lots. In the late 1990's another subdivision of 9 lots was developed. A third addition of 14 more lots is underway, with houses being built at the current time. In anticipation of big business moving to Birch Hills, the Town has assembled land and put a development plan in place to service the housing needs of future residents.
