Utilities

Water:

The water sources are the Birch Hills reservoirs.  The Town has its own water treatment facility.

The Town employs a water operator that maintains the current certification level required by the Province of Saskatchewan.

Minimum water is $80.00 per month which provides residents with a capacity of 12 cubic meters.

Overage is charged at $3.00 per cubic meter over the minimum.

A water meter deposit is required for all utility accounts $200.00 for renters and $100.00 for home owners, this amount is due within 45 days of receiving services.

Sewer:

The set sewer charge is a rate of $35.00 per month; the volumetric rate for over 12 cubic meters is $1.25 per cubic meter.

Infrastructure Fee:

There is an infrastructure fee of $10.00 per month.

Bulk Water Sales:

Rate = $26.52 per 1000 gallons / $5.84 per cubic meter

Billing:

Payments for utility billings can be made by cash, cheque, debit card, credit card, E-transfer or through online banking.

There is an option for you to pay by preauthorized debit.  Please fill out a PAD Agreement Form if you are interested.

Utility bills are sent out on the 1st of the month by mail unless an email consent form has been filled out and sent back to the town office.
